Dove Meadow B & B is situated in the peaceful, rural hamlet of Quixhill, near Denstone, Staffordshire – just three miles from the ever-popular Alton Towers Resort. The Derbyshire market town of Ashbourne, known as the gateway to Dovedale, is just 15 minutes by car. Quixhill is an ideal base from which to explore the spectacular Peak District National Park. Chatsworth House heads up an impressive list of historical houses in the area. Uttoxeter, with its highly respected racecourse, is an easy 7 mile drive.

The Peak District covers more the 550 square miles. The beautiful park has stunning landscapes to enjoy throughout the year, from the edges, to the reservoirs, viaducts, cycleways and varied wildlife and habitats. The park has been shaped by people and nature over thousands of years.

This is Britain's number one theme park, with over 40 world class rides and attractions aimed to suit everyone. The fun continues all year round at the fabulous waterpark at Cariba Creek, or by enjoying a round of extraordinary Golf or visiting the stunning grounds. With so much going on and regular seasonal events, the Alton Towers resort is a fabulous day out, no matter what the time of year, and so conveniently close to Dove Meadow B & B.
